Kacey Musgraves Makes a Special Appearance with Scooby-Doo
Kacey Musgraves can add "cartoon character" to her resume now.
The singer made an appearance as teen-crimefighter Daphne's best friend. Musgraves played herself in the episode, leading me to wonder --is it Daphne rolling with celebs on the regular?
According to the show description, there's trouble at the Ryman:
"The gang heads to Nashville, Tennessee, to meet up with none other than country music legend Kacey Musgraves! She’s putting on a special variety show in a famous old auditorium, but the production seems to be cursed!"
Musgraves tweeted out some clips from the show last night, which is titled: "The Phantom, The Talking Dog, And The Hot Hot Hot Sauce." You can watch the show for free if you download the Boomerang app or via the channel's website.

She's no stranger to children's television. Kacey appeared on "The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo" last May to sing the Rubber Ducky song.
