There haven't been too many games this season where the Buffalo Sabres have made it worth the price of admission, but a much different story on Tuesday night.
With their best player out of the game, the Sabres rallied behind some inspired play by a number of players especially Sam Reinhart, Benoit Pouliot, Evander Kane and Chad Johnson.
For the first time this month the Buffalo Sabres have back to back wins. Sam Reinhart scored a power play goal early in the second period and the Sabres made it hold up until Evander Kane scored the clinching goal, his 19th of the season late in the third for a 2-0 win over the Colorado Avalanche.
Quite possibly the Buffalo Sabres have turned the corner. Since the first of the year they've taken seven of a possible eight points against some good hockey teams including Tuesday night's 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
