You may have heard about a new gas station coming to downtown Buffalo. It was announced last year with plans to open this spring, and would offer tax-free gasoline. That time has officially come.

WGRZ is reporting that The Seneca One Stop has opened in downtown Buffalo. They had their grand opening on Friday morning.

The new gas station is located on Seneca Nation land across from the Buffalo Creek Casino.

It's a pretty big gas station, too, offering 14 pumps and nearly 5,000-square-feet of space. If you're trying to get some food as you get your gas, they also have a convivence shop and a Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru, which is great.

I know people drive all the way to the southtowns and southern tier to get tax-free gas, even if it means a longer drive time to get there; so this will be another option for drivers. The fact its in downtown Buffalo makes it that much more appealing, especially for drivers looking to fill up on gas before heading out to the 190 and 33 expressways.

I work in downtown Buffalo, so this will be very much welcomed. The Seneca One Stop is located in Perry Street and will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Another option for gas in the city.
