If you have been itching to get out and roller skate, here is a great way to do that in spooky fashion in Buffalo!

Roll into Halloween weekend with the final opportunity to skate on the roller rink at Canalside. Soon it will be turned back into an ice-skating rink. But before that happens, here’s your chance to put on a costume and roll into the evening.

Rollerskating is available starting at 6 with a Halloween theme and you can rent skates for the entire family.

When was the last time you went rollerskating? I remember as kids we would go to birthday parties at roller rinks on Transit Road. Just before the party was over, I started to figure out how to stop properly and not just do loops all around the rink with wobbly knees.

We are so blessed to have these wonderful things for families to do in the Western New York area. We have three little boys and are always looking for things for the family to do especially outside. I am a firm believer that fresh air is the best thing for the kids and helps them to get a good night's sleep. Which is actually a win for moms and dads!

With trick-or-treating happening on Saturday or Sunday, why not start the weekend with some rollerskating? Grab your costume and head downtown for the last opportunity of the season. Happy Halloween to you and your family!
