If you drive Transit Road every day, you're going to want to read this and prepare because it is certainly going to be tough to drive down this summer. Expect these delays to happen through the end of August.

There will be some big construction going on between Walden and Gould in Depew and they expect it will back up much further down Transit Road.

New York State Department of Transportation said here is the schedule of work:

June 21-23: Transit southbound will be reduced from two lanes to one from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

June 24-June 26 at 5:00 a.m: Totally closed

Monday, June 26-August: one lane each direction down Transit.
