Don’t Do This On A Plane—We Almost Got Fined $11,000

We left Buffalo just around happy hour heading to Tampa. There were 7 of us who had no problem starting happy hour, so we brought our own mini bottles. You can get them through security, but you can't drink them on the plane--it's the law.

When we got off the plane there were a couple of officers who were waiting to warn us to never drink personal alcohol on a plane again and informed us there is a hefty fine for doing so.

You can bring your under 3.4 ounce or less little bottles, mini-bottles sealed in a plastic container.

The Federal Aviation Administration can administer up to a $11,000 fine for drinking your own alcohol on a plane.

So word to the wise: either pay up the price on the plane....or take a nap lol
