After the 4th of July, it is officially fair and festival season in Western New York. We've got a bunch coming up soon, including the Eden Corn Festival.

What: The Eden Corn Festival

Where: Eden American Legion Post 880 grounds

When: Thursday, August 6th through Sunday, August 9th

Is the Eden Corn Festival just about eating corn?

While the corn festival did start out as a way to highlight the corn that was grown in Eden, NY, it's grown into a lot more than that. There is a bunch of entertainment (a lot of it is free), food, crafts, and more.

If you're looking for something to do, you need to check it out at least once (and we're sure you'll be back for more).

And yes, there is corn on the cob. Somehow it's some of the best corn you'll eat all summer. There's just something about the way they cook it at the corn fest that makes it taste better there than it does anywhere else.

Some of the most popular activities at the Eden Corn Fest

Every year, people flock from all over Western New York for their favorite part of the corn fest, and it's different for everyone. Some people love the parade. Some people love the car show. The kids love the rides and games. The adults love the beer tents and entertainment.

You can take in a baseball game, or join the Sons of the American Legion for their clam stand. You can do some shopping at the craft fair, and watch pet and animal shows. You can do all of that and what feels like a million other things.

There is a ton of stuff to do!
