Last year about this time, I was in a good place in terms of trying to eat better and exercise. I had a really good summer staying on course, but last fall, I admit, I fell completely off the wagon so to speak.

One thing I have kept up with somewhat is staying away from cola. I’ve pretty much stopped drinking pop completely; not going to lie, I will have a coke occasionally, but nothing like before. I would drink at least one can a day, and some days two or more.

So now I find myself back at square one and intend on having bigger meals for lunch and eating light at breakfast and dinner, and then doing what all the experts say -- snacking on healthy foods during the day. This system worked once, so it's going to have to again.  It gets easier, but with all the temptations around, it’s definitely an ongoing battle.
