Buffalo has been hungry for a Super Bowl championship, even before the ‘90s when they infamously lost four straight Super Bowls.

Next year may be our year! I know it seems like we say that every year, but it looks more than promising. Coach Sean McDermott has led the Buffalo Bills to the NFL Playoffs back to back seasons, and people have started to wonder if a Super Bowl championship win will automatically dub Coach McDermott as the greatest Buffalo Bills coach of all time.

Not everyone agrees.

Coach McDermott has made some coaching moves ahead of the 2024-25 NFL season. In the previous season, he replaced the Offensive Coordinator with interim Joe Brady, who will continue in the role. The Buffalo Bills saw a significant increase in game wins after the change was made, but there will be an adjustment to the defensive coaching structure, too.

The Buffalo Bills have named Bobby Babich as the new defensive coordinator. Previously, Babich was the linebackers coach for the Bills, so he is already familiar with many of the key defensive players on the Buffalo Bills roster.

Moving Babich to the defensive coordinator position alleviates some stress for Coach McDermott. Now he is able to focus on the overall team collective and how they work together, both on offense and defense.
