Garth Brooks made Billboard chart history to begin the new decade.

According to Billboard, Garth became the first artist to ever chart on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart (also Billboard Country Airplay) in the 1980s, '90s, 2000s, '10's and '20s.

Garth debuted in March of 1989 with "Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old)." His latest single "Dive Bar" (feat. Blake Shelton) is currently in the top 20 to start 2020.

Artists like Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton have charted in five different decades but Garth is the first to do so and include the 2020's.

It's incredible that Garth's first song since was 1989. He's the best selling country artist of all time and among the top in any genre. He also holds the record for the highest Billboard chart debut for a single, which also was the only number one debut in country radio history ("More than a Memory" in 2007).
