Simply Pierogi, Chrusciki Bakery, BFLO Store are Part of Eastern Hills Mall Renovations

The Eastern Hills Mall is getting a complete makeover.

According to WIVB, the public got its first chance to see phase one of the renovations at the Eastern Hills Mall and oh my, does it look amazing. News of changes coming to the mall site came last spring.

The former Sears has been transformed into a mixed-space, that includes a full event center, bakery, salon, bar, restaurant and the flagship BFLO store.

Nathan Mroz, an entrepreneur who started the BFLO Store is behind the renovations.

“I just wanted to breathe new life into something old and you know, do it quickly,” said Mroz.

Just down the corridor will be a Simply Pierogi restaurant, Chrusciki Bakery and Sto Lat Bar.

There's also plans of a Buffalo Grand Ball Room upstairs from it all.

According to Ania Duchon of Chrusciki Bakery, the bakery and pierogi site should open in a couple of weeks.
